Once Upon an Island: traditional tales from new Cape Bretoners was unveiled Thursday at the Cape Breton University Library as part of the Isle of Story Festival. The book features stories brought to Cape Breton by people who moved here from other countries. The book is a project of the Immigration Partnership, Cape Breton Regional Library and the Cape Breton Partnership. Thursday’s launch included the sharing of traditional tales from India, told by CBU international students.
