Dr. Sean Howard is adjunct Professor of Political Science at CBU, and author of the three other collections of verse: Local Calls ( CBU Press), Incitements (Gaspereau Press) and The Photographer's Last Picture ( Gaspereau Press).
Sean Howard's new book of poetry, Ghost estates: a Snakeskin Seminar, was inspired by a presentation at CBU by Dr. Jan Curtis on 'Orpheus in Ireland, Seamus Heaney and the Poet's Task, and other Matters'. Part manifesto, part meditation, the book takes a personal and political journey to the diseased heartland of modern verse, the underworld of myth and magic beneath the High Estate of Reason - and the corridors and classrooms of CBU itself.
A large crowd gathered to hear about Dr. Sean Howard's new book, Ghost estates: a snakeskin seminar, at CBU Library.
Find Dr. Howard''s new book, Ghost estates: a snakeskin seminar, in the CBU Library Special Collection using call number: PS 8615 O923 G56 2018.
