Genre – A specific type of music, film or writing. Examples of genres include science fiction, drama, comedy, etc.
Hold – A library patron may place a hold on an item that is checked out to another person. This ensures that the person placing the hold will be next in line to receive the item when it is returned to the library. When the item is returned an email will be sent to the patron that placed the hold, allowing them to check out/borrow the item.
Holdings – All materials owned by the library. Holdings can be found by searching in the Novanet Catalogue.
