Academic Integrity

CBU has an academic integrity homepage, as well as an Academic Integrity Handbook. These will be useful to refer to throughout your time here.

You now have access to "Introduction to Academic Integrity", an online course about academic integrity, plagiarism, and citations. 

Zotero - Great for Saving and Managing References

Download Zotero here, don't forget to download the browser extension. These resources may be useful for installing and learning to use Zotero: 

Zotero makes it easy to create in-text citations and reference lists in APA format. Simply add citations or reference list from the toolbar in your word processor. The plugin for Word should be installed when the Zotero app is installed on the computer. If it isn't installed in Word, navigate to the toolbar in Zotero.. Edit>>Preferences>>Cite. The Zotero plugin will be installed on your toolbar in Google Docs when you download the Zotero browser extension for Google Chrome.  

In-Person and Online Help with Writing and Citation

  • CBU's Writing Centre [CBU Library, Second Floor] can help with the writing process. 
  • Purdue University's OWL provides APA citation guidance. Navigate the page on the left of screen
  • The APA manual (7th edition)can be found on shelves next to the Reference Desk. The call number is REF BF76.7 P83 2019
