Welcome to the Reader's Advisory Guide! Reader's advisory is a service that recommends titles based on a preferred genre. This guide provides suggested reads for a variety of genres, as well as suggestions for leisure activities.

CBU and the rest of Nova Scotia follows the "Borrow Anywhere, Return Anywhere" initiative. This means that you can borrow an item from any library in the province (both academic and public) and return it to any library. This initiative reduces any stress around returning an item on-time to a specific location as well as allows for further access to materials your home library may not have.

CBU members may request materials from any other library to be picked up at CBU and can return the item to the library most convenient for them. So if you know of a title that is not listed in the CBU catalogue, simply make a request and the book will sent to CBU.
