Course Reserves

Reserve items include:

  • Items from our General Collection
  • Items provided by faculty
  • Copies of articles or single chapters
  • Videos
  • Solutions to problems or tests
  • Lecture notes 

Material placed on Reserve must adhere to the copyright guidelines set by the Canadian Copyright Act.

Items may be placed on reserve for more than one term. Items surpassing two years will be monitored for either replacement or renewal.

Depending on demand, 3-5 business days is requested for processing reserve material.

Items will be returned to our General Collection at the end of the request period.

Items belonging to faculty are to be picked up at the Circulation Desk within 30 days of the end of the request period. Items not picked up will be sent back to the faculty member via internal mail.
