Microsoft- CBU has an enterprise license to Microsoft products including Email, Word, Excel, etc. You can login and use the products online OR download them if you prefer to use the applications on your computer:

ArcGIS
CBU has 100 licenses for ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Business Analyst Online, and more. Contact martin_chandler@cbu.ca for more info/access.

Audacity
Audacity is a free, open source audio recording and editing software. It is easy to use, and allows recording and mixing of any audio projects, including music, podcasts, and more.
GNU Image Manipulation Project
GNU Image Manipulation Project, or GIMP, is an open source image editor. It allows for in-depth image manipulation similar to commercial source, but at no cost.
QGIS
QGIS is the free, open source geospatial software. For help with GIS, contact martin_chandler@cbu.ca.
R and R Studio
R is an open source software for statistical computing and graphics. It is free to download and use. There is a learning curve, but it can handle multiple formats and is becoming the main statistical software. Download R Studio, as well, for a somewhat more user-friendly user interface.
