Academic Integrity - Understand It
If you don’t understand rules of quotation, citation etc., it is possible to plagiarize someone else’s work without knowing that you are doing it.
- Using a direct quote without acknowledgment is plagiarism.
- Using someone else's ideas without acknowledging those ideas is also plagiarism.

The APA Manual
APA citation is the output style accepted in SSOB.
The APA[American Psychological Association] produces a publication manual for structuring papers; avoiding plagiarism; constructing reference lists and in-text citation etc. A hardcopy of the 7th edition is kept at CBU Library's Reference Desk. The call number is: BF76.7 P83 2019
