Library System Updates

ALMA is now live!

The Library's new system is up and running as of May 17. Library staff will be testing out links, features and issues for the next several weeks. You can now perform library functions such as holds or renewals by logging into your library account. When logging into your account, you no longer use your barcode and phone number, you now use your CBU email and email password.

Although the main library search interface looks the same, the  Journal search page looks different when using ALMA ( https://cbu.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/jsearch?vid=01NOVA_CBU:CBU ).

Some of my links are broken!

Links to Novanet records (books and articles in the catalogue) have changed. This means if you had a link to a Novanet record in Moodle, https://cbu.novanet.ca/permalink/f/gd2tmg/TN_cdi_proquest_miscellaneous_2135995880  for example, you will need to get the new link to the material from our catalogue.

Direct links to e – resources (right to the article or book at the publisher/vendor site  https://cbu.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=e000xna&AN=468512&site=ehost-live&scope=site ) will NOT change.

If you need help testing your links or finding the new link, please contact the library.
