What is Secret Path Week?
Secret Path Week is celebrated each year from October 17 - 22. It is a National Movement commemorating the memories of Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack. The week respectively marks the dates that Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack joined the spirit world.
Secret Path Week calls on all Canadians to answer Gord Downie's Call to Action, to "Do Something" by creating reconciliACTION and furthering conversation about the history of residential schools.
